SUPP pays highest tribute possible to the late Adenan
SUPP party leaders and grassroot members are still in shock with the rather sudden demise of our beloved Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem this afternoon.
We do not have adequate words to express our grief over the passing of this true-son of Sarawak.
The late Adenan in his short time as CM had done tremendously good things for Sarawak and the people of this state.
He fought bravely to defend the rights of Sarawak within Malaysia and he had introduced many wise administrative policies that had benefitted the ordinary people.
The late Adenan lead the way towards a landslide BN victory during the last state elections and he was instrumental in helping SUPP to regain our footing in the state polls.
His clean image and wise policies also played a pivotal role in winning back the Chinese voters.
We in the party would like to pay the highest tribute possible to the late Adenan who is the best CM that Sarawak ever have.
We extend our condolences too to his wife and family and we pray that they will be strong in their time of grief.
We also pray that Adenan will rest in eternal peace and that God will grant him everlasting happiness in Heaven.
