Dr Sim: I have lost a friend

State Local Minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian broke down when he was asked to comment on CM’s demise.

In an emotional statement when met by the media, Dr. Sim said the Chief Minister was admitted last Saturday.

“We have lost a great leader and Great fellow Sarawakian. He was a devoted leader. He is also a friend.

Even before he passed away, he was talking about Sarawak education with federal government, so his passing on was rather unexpected.

My deepest condolence to Puan Sri Jamilah and the family.

It is indeed a great loss to Sarawak.”
