Campaign against Hudud Bill
Local Government Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian launched an Anti hudud campaign at the premises of Federation of Kuching, Samarahan and Serian Divisions Chinese Associations .
He believed that the Dayak community will support the anti hudud campaign too.
Dr Sim, who is also SUPP president, said the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem had always been clear about his stand against hudud laws.
In sarawak, he said there are more christians than muslim and being a multi racial state, the dayaks will support the campaign, he added.
Dr. Sim wants to stop the Private Member’s Bill tabled by PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang in Parliament in May.
