Helping out the unfortunate
Batu Kitang State Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang, following his swearing in as Chairman of MPP, rushed to the fire scene immediately after the ceremony when he heard of the news of a fire in Haji Baki Block C.
A number of the Kampung folks had called him saying that three families were affected in the morning fire. The total number of people affected were 16.
Fortunately Lo said the houses were partial burned. He had also contacted the Welfare for assistance and he himself had also given a token to the affected family.
He also urged members of the public to help in kind if they could.
Also presented were Penghulu Karin Abg Omar, PBB Woman, Sabtuyah Yusuf and Hatta Bin Azim.
