Reading glasses for senior citizens
A total of 534 pairs of reading glasses were given to senior citizens around the city last weekend by the SUPP team. Batu Lintang SUPP Women chief Councillor Katherine Voon Yian Vie led the programme at the Stutong market and Sungai Maong community centre and gave the glasses as part of the International Woman day program. The programme was aimed to help elderly people read better with proper reading glasses.
Clearing out blocked septic tank
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) was recently approached by the owner of a coffeeshop operating from a row of shophouses in front of Kota Sentosa Wet Market who complained on the blocked and overflowing main septic tanks at the backlane of his business premises.
