陈超耀：2018年财政预算案为砂带来庞大拨款
砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师表示，联邦政府2018年财政预算案对砂拉越而言是公平的，因为首相拿督斯里纳吉拨出10亿令吉，在未来两年内以IBS工业建筑系统，维修砂拉越的残旧学校。 他称，砂拉越有许多残旧学校，急需维修，以为学生提供更好的学习环境，提升教育表现。 “学生在学习的当儿，必须有所保障，尤其是安全。” 陈超耀感激纳吉为砂拉越和沙巴提供庞大拨款，尤其是落实泛婆大道计划、提升建筑设施和道路、提升通讯设施和网络宽频服务，以全面迎接工业革命4.0时代的来临。 他说，庞大的拨款同样落实在提升电力设施用途，受惠对象是1万家乡区住宅，同时还有3000户砂沙住家获得干净水供。 他强调，砂拉越继续庞大的拨款，以便基础设施发展能迎头赶上西马。 对于教育方面，陈超耀说，2018年财政预算案也注重技职教育（TVET），为这项教育发展带来49亿令吉的拨款。在砂拉越方面，正当朝向2030年先进州属的目标当儿，技职教育的发展将有助于砂拉越达致目标。而且砂首席部长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里也激励带领砂拉越朝向全新发展领域，尤其是数码经济发展。 他表示，在整体上，2018年财政预算案相当平衡，而且全面覆盖各个领域的需求，包括社会、贫穷人士、中等阶级、乡区、公共服务领域和年轻一代。 他称，人联党对这项财政预算案感到高兴，无论如何，他认为联邦政府有必要关注土地交易的税务课题，该税务应该归还给砂拉越，毕竟在宪法上，砂拉越政府拥有权力征收税务。他相信在砂拉越人民权益为重下，这个课题有必要继续获得关注。
拿督沈桂贤医生足球杯11月29日决赛
由砂拉越人民联合党青年团主催、古晋中华体育会协办之“拿督沈桂贤医生足球杯”赛连续第二年举行。 今年的决赛暨闭幕礼将于11月29日（星期日）下午3时15分在古晋南市市政局银禧运动场举行，公众受促出席观赛，入场免费。 今年赛会共获得8队参与，经过多番赛事后，进入绝代的两支队伍为Fox Marina体育会和南洋联队。来自美里的Fox Marina体育会曾经在2015年及2016年婆罗洲杯连续两年夺冠，这是该队首次出战“拿督沈桂贤医生杯”，派出了来自古晋、诗巫和美里等地55名球员。 南洋联队成立于2015年，主要活跃于古晋区，这是该队连续第二年角逐，去年赛会获得亚军，共有26名球员。
