Mambong assemblyman Datuk Dr. Jerip Susil, Opar assemblyman Ranun Mina & Engkilili assemblyman Johnical Rayong Ngipa quit UPP to stand as BN direct candidate and if they win, they must join any BN component party. This was the the vow given. The vow is given according to the BN principle. Now they breached the vow though the door is still open to them to join any existing BN party. 符祥威：加入非国阵成员党行为等同背叛
砂人联党青年团宣教秘书符祥威律师今日在文告中表明，芒蒙区州议员拿督耶里苏休、奥巴区州议员拉浓米纳和英吉利里区州议员佐尼科拉永当初欲成为国阵直属候选人之前，均同意退出联民党，并承诺在中选之后，加入任何一个国阵成员党。 他说，这是当时他们答应遵守的承诺，惟在国阵成员党敞开门户欢迎他们加入的情况下，他们却选择重返非国阵成员的联民党，此举等同背叛国阵。 符祥威强调，联民党并非是国阵成员党。 他指出，砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤一直以来都阐明，人联党的大门随时为想要归队的人而打开，这立场到如今还是维持，没有改变。
