Sharing New Year spirit with flood victims
SUPP President, Senator Datuk Dr. SIM kui Hian, visited the flood evacuation centre in Batu Kawa and Batu Kitang late last nite. “While we celebrated Chinese New Year, we should never forget those affected by the flood,” he said. “There is no reason why we can’t share the spirit of CNY with everyone, everywhere, under whatever circumstances and bring some cheers to their lives,” he added.
探访疏散中心灾黎
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于昨日深夜前往石角与巴都吉当的水灾疏散中心，探访当地的灾黎。 连日豪雨与涨潮，导致石角与巴都吉当多个地区发生淹水，居民被迫暂时安顿在疏散中心。 沈桂贤向灾黎们献上慰问，同时也分发食水等物资给他们。
州元首向沈桂贤贺节
州元首敦丕显斯里泰益玛目于大年初一中午向党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员贺节。 他与夫人杜潘拉嘉古迪泰益莅临沈桂贤位于肯雅兰的住家，获得沈桂贤本身、夫人拿汀王淑燕及母亲潘斯里沈林素卿的迎接。在场的人联党领袖包括秘书长拿督陈超耀律师、副主席拿督李景胜、中央宣教秘书俞小珊及妇女组主席拿汀徐美丽。 众人除了参与捞生之外，还一起交流，其乐融融。
