屠妖节庆典
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于日前出席在青年与体育中心举行的屠妖节庆典。 在场的嘉宾包括砂福利、家庭与社会发展部部长拿督法蒂玛陈赛明。 沈桂贤认为，尽管在本州印裔同胞只是占少数，但无可否认的是，他们对于本州，甚至是全国发展都扮演重要的角色。
Charity Run 2015 entered the Malaysia Book of Record.
The 10,000-people Charity Run 2015 organised by the Committee of Management of Kuching Chung Hua Middle School (CHMS) No.1, 3 and 4 has entered the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) for the most number of participants. 颁发上议员拨款
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员于日前颁发上议员拨款予30个团体单位。 他在颁发仪式上致词时表示，社团在社会上扮演重要的角色，做出服务与贡献，尽管上议员拨款并非大数目，但是希望能给予他们帮助。 他称，较多的拨款数目主要分配予学校，建校需要更大的帮助，毕竟华教寻找捐款并不容易。他指出，现有的国会议员个人拨款数目每年为400万令吉，而明年若财政预算案通过，预计国会议员个人拨款将有1千万令吉。 不过，他感到遗憾的是，古晋区没有国阵的国会议员，因此无法从有关国会议员拨款中受惠。他希望能有更多的拨款可以分配协助有需要的团体组织。

The 10,000-people Charity Run 2015 organised by Committee of Management of Kuching Chung Hua Middle School (CHMS) No.1, 3 and 4 has entered the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) for the most number of participating students at 10,231.
