Launching of party mascot
SUPP revealed an interesting mascot last night at its election campaign machinery launching at the party headquarters with the catchline ‘we can be‘. President of the party, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian said the bee was chosen as the bee represent the solidarity, is always busy and working in unity. Adding a humor in, he said, those who bully us, we will sting you.
The truck, he said, though small, is a start for their election campaign machinery.
He added that just like in the 60s, SUPP is now going back to the ground to service the people.
Over 1,000 members, mostly consisting of the young group, joined the launch.
