Good evening ladies and gentlemen. A warm welcome especially to our Chief minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem……

A very happy Chinese New Year to everyone. We SUPP celebrated this Chinese New Year in buoyant mood with a newfound unity inside the party.

We are most happy to note that the party as a whole no longer suffers from internal strives. SUPP now is on the mend, moving forward with

new found vigour after the past many years of internal disputes. Those elements that had caused so much havoc inside the party have left. We in SUPP are now free from internal problems.

We are now focused on our service to the rakyat. These have been our top priority as we are a people’s party.

In fact here in Miri over the past five years, despite SUPP having lost Piasau and Pujut seats, we are still the party that is most hard working on the ground. Together with SUPP Senadin we Miri SUPP leaders and members have functioned as the main party that take care of the rakyat welfare.

In terms of being of service and looking into resolving the problems of the communities in Miri, we SUPP are on the frontline at all times.

The grass root rakyat still come to our SUPP service centers whenever they need help like welfare issues and also land, low cost housing applications, the applications of late ICs and birth certificates.

IT IS A FACT.

We have even received information that the opposition YBs even encourage the rakyat who sought their assistance to come to SUPP for help.
