Dr Sim – more Bumiputera students entering Chinese schools
SUPP President, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian said there are more Bumiputera students entering Chinese schools which is a good way to foster better relationship and understanding one another.
Distributing school bags and stationary sets to students yesterday at SJK Chung Hua No 5, Dr, Sim said today’s parents are lucky as there is no worries of sending their children to school as education is free from Primary One to Form Six.
He said there are many types of scholarship available too. Saying that running a school needs a lot of money, adding that the State government is fighting for more autonomy on education.
About 100 students received the school bags and stationary sets.
