Dr. Sim offers his condolences
President of Sarawak United People’s party (SUPP), Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kiu Hian said SUPP has lost a great leader and a loyalist.
Datuk Ting Ing Mieng aged 86 passed away at the Sarawak General hospital heart specialist at 1 pm yesterday.
Dr. Sim said despite his age, he never failed to show concern and to show up to support the party like the SUPP CNY gathering.
He thanked Ting for his contribution to the people of Sarawak, to Sarawak and to SUPP over the years and extended his deepest condolences to his family.
On another matter, Dr. Sim said the bruttal killing of Bernard Then is great tragedy and senseless lost of an innocent life.
Dr. Sim extended his condolences to the family of Bernard and hoped that Malaysia will do much more to protect our own border from this type of external threat.
He said it is worrisome to see incidents of terror in Paris and prayed that it will never happen here.
We demanded that the Philippines authority swiftly bring the terrorist to justice.
