Sharing the spirit of Gawai festivities
Sarawak United Peoples Party (SUPP) leaders, Secretary general of SUPP, Dato Sebastian Ting, Chairman of Senadin, Dato’ Lee Kim Shim and Chairman of Pujut, Adam Yii went visiting to kampongs on the first day of Gawai festival, to share with the locals on this annual joyous occasion.
Ting said they went to visit Ketua Kaum Edward Pasir at Kampung Pasir Lutong and nearby kampongs.
He said Sarawak is fortunate to have different races, with their diverse culture and religion, living in harmony and sharing the spirit of celebrating each others’ festival.
