Dr Sim at Wesak Day celebrations with the Malaysia Buddhist Association, Sarawak Branch.
SUPP President, Senator DAtuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian joined in the auspicious day of celebrating Wesak Day celebrations at Malaysia Buddhist Association Sarawak Branch.
Sim said Wesak Day is an important day for Buddhist and this is the day when Buddhists prayed and celebrate the day in peace and harmonious atmosphere.
He said in Malaysia, being able to celebrate Wesak day is a reflection of our tolerance and acceptance of a multi racial society.
Today’s society is full of hatred, selfishness, especially the growth of religious extremism – thus he called for all to pray to Buddha for compassionate caring hearts and the spirit of love.
