SUPP’s stand on Rayong’s statement
Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) strongly condemns YB Rayong’s misleading statement and unequivocally asserts that SUPP will defend its present 19 seats and any new seats allocated to the party.
In view of this, SUPP has issued the following statement.
1. SUPP will be firm and consistent in its stand in defending the existing 19 seats plus the additional new seats.
2. Sarawak BN has four component parties, namely PBB, SUPP, PRS and SPDP, and will not admit any new parties as any new component parties will only further divide the people in Sarawak. This is the firm and consistent common stand among the BN component parties.
3. UPP is not BN friendly as it is harming the interests of BN by further dividing the people of Sarawak, especially the Chinese community. And this is also the consistent feedback SUPP is getting from the general public.
4. SUPP urges its members to stay calm and focus on servicing the people and staying close to the ground.
