Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting called to all pet owners to take advantage of a rabies vaccination programme which will be held on this coming Saturday and Sunday,(7th -8th) between 9 am to 4 pm in the effort to curb rabbies.

He said venue will be at Lutong Shell Basketball court, Taman Awan Miri and Taman Bulatan Miri. Pet owners are urged to bring along their identity cards too. The vaccination is free of charge.

Ting said Miri council is urging all to stay safe with “No bites, No rabies” thus everyone has a role to play in helping to eliminate rabies.

Free vaccination is also available at Veterinary Department at 085-411866  (Pelita Commercial center next to Bank Rakyat) from Monday to Friday between 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.
