A new lease of life for stateless boy
A young boy is given a new lease of life, much to the delight of his parents. State Assemblyman for Piasau, Datuk Sebatian Ting handed his citizenship papers to the boy at his Piasau branch this morning.
The boy has been stateless and the parents had been doing their best to apply for his citizenship for years. His mother is a foreigner.
Ting thanked the KDN for granting citizenship to the boy as without it, he will face life in a limbo without proper education or unable to apply for any legal documents.
