Providing light to those deserving
SUPP Mambong Youth paid enormous compliment to Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) for their efficiency and promptness in handling demand by public. A house at Lorong 3, Kampong Siburan wasn’t connected with electric line and had to rely on next door for power supply.
The case was raised by fellow residents of siburan to SUPP Mambong Youth Chief Andrew Victor Nub. In an impromptu visit to resident of the house Mdm Chee, Andrew was informed that the family have been waiting for the installation after a few months and were the only house which does not get direct line to their house but instead still depending on the neighbour’s house.
Due to safety reason, the case was raised up immediately to the SEB Siburan office and SEB promptly inspect and install the cable the following day.
Chee Lina expressed her gratitude to Mambong Youth and SUPP for bringing the solution to the family. “Our house was the only one without direct power supply in Siburan. It’s so great to get it after a long wait.”
Andrew, who is also SUPP Central Deputy Youth Chief, pointed out that SUPP has always open their doors to listen to public issues and that is why SUPP mobile service was introduced by the Party President as he realized the need to have a mechanism in order to continue serve the people for a better living condition.
