Dr Sim: MBKS to do more to avoid criticism
Local government and Housing Minister, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian called to Kuching South City Council (MBKS) to do more in term of city management so that they would not face criticism.
MBKS, he said being the largest of 26 local councils in Sarawak, should perform better than others and show a good example.
Dr Sim said he was disappointed to hear the same complaint about roads with potholes, grass not cut, broken streetlights, rubbish not cleared and collected which shows that there was little done to improve things.
Saying that he wants to see improvement and a better job done, Dr. Sim pointed out that everyone is looking at MBKS to see how it did its job. Thus, he said the people will at least not complain over every petty things.
Asking them to take pride in their job, Dr. Sim said everyone should do their part in the council and to show their responsibility.
