Dr Sim Kui Hian Cup’ 2017 football tournament
Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian Cup’ 2017 football tournament which is organized by SUPP Youth Central and jointly conducted by Persatuan Jasmani Tiong Hua Kuching (KCPA), will stage the final game on 29November 2017 (Sunday).
The match is scheduled to start at 3.15pm at the MBKS Jubilee Ground Football Field, Jalan Tan Sri Datuk William Tan. Members of the Public are urged to come. The entrance is free.
The tournament this year was participated by eight teams. Fox Marina Recreation Sport Club and Nanyang United Football Club succeeded in reaching the final.
Fox Marina Recreation Sport Club was established in 2017. This Miri based team has won Borneo Cup twice in 2015 and 2016. For their first participation in this tournament, the team is composed by 55 players that are from Kuching, Sibu and Miri.
Established in 2015, Nanyang United Football Club was active in Kuching area. The team with 26 players was Runner Up for last year’s tournament. This time is their second consecutive participation.
