Sink hole due to underground electricity cable snapped
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) was recently approached by a resident from 7th Mile area who heard a loud bang, causing a sink hole on the road by the side of a corner shop in front of Kota Sentosa Wet Market.
Following the notification and request for assistance received, SUPP PCB Chief Wilfred Yap immediately informed the Engineering Section of Majlis Perbandaran Padawan (MPP) who immediately went to inspect and assess the situation.
It was discovered that an underground electricity cable had snapped/disconnected and the matter was immediately communicated/highlighted to SESCO for their prompt action.
The contractor from SESCO have now repaired and reconnected the underground electricity cable.
