Upgrading of drains at Taman Mei Lee, Lorong 6B, Jalan Stakan Sentosa.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap together with SUPP members recently went to monitor the progress of the construction, improvement and upgrading work of drains at Taman Mei Lee, Lorong 6B, Jalan Stakan Sentosa.
The representatives of the local residents namely Madan Thung and Mr Yeo had earlier in 2016 complained on the bad conditions of the drains at Taman Mei Lee, Lorong 6B, Jalan Stakan Sentosa which was causing flash flooding during heavy rain. Following their complaint made in 2016, SUPP Public Complaints Bureau had conveyed their request and highlighted their complaint to the relevant authorities.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau would like to the thank all the relevant authorities for their hard effort in solving the drainage problems faced by residents and hopes that the public will be more understanding towards the relevant authorities as infrastructure problems faced by them cannot be solved overnight but that must go through a process of applying and securing funding for the work before implementation of the contract work can begin.
