Blood donation drive at Crown Towers
State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Lo Khere Chiang officiated the opening of a blood donation drive at the Crown Towers organised jointly by Maybank and Federation Of Kuching And Samarahan Divisions Chinese Association Youth Section.
Lo congratulated Maybank and the co-organiser on the meaningful and successful blood donation drive.
He himself, who has donated blood since 20 years ago, also did his part for the day.
“We should feel proud being able to donate blood because not everyone is eligible to do so. It’s a noble and rewarding doing this good deed, it makes one feel happy and grateful in our life and I have never regretted it,” he added.
He encouraged more youngsters and youth organizations to organise such meaningful event and also encourage corporate companies doing CSR to do so too, thus giving back to the society , as a single donation can potentially help more than one patient.
