Mayor and staff planning on making a better Miri
Miri newly minted Mayor, Adam Yii has been going to the ground to give service to the people and to check out complaints made since taking over recently.
Yii was again with his councillors and council staff at Taman Awam yesterday morning as early as 7 am.
“We planted 34 trees as part of giving a healthy environment to Miri and painted the staircase with rainbow colors to bring colour to the place.
Yii said the program is also to promote closer interaction and cooperation between councillors and council staff and members of the public.
He said the council have planned more of such service oriented projects in Miri as this is also a way to stay connected and to hear the grouses of the people should there be any.
