CM to meet the Prime Minister to discuss a number of issues
Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem will meet the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak tomorrow in Putrajaya to discuss on a number of
issues.
A statement from the Chief Minister’s Office said today the meeting would touch on the devolution of power, the Inter-Governmental Committee (IGC) reports and recommendations, the Malaysia Agreement 1963, the Malaysia Act and the Cobbold Commission Report.
Adenan would submit two memoranda to Najib on the state government’s position on the matter, added the statement.
The chief minister had touched at length on the devolution of power process during the recent 18th State Legislative Assembly sitting.
