Paying respect to past leaders
SUPP president Senator Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian and some party leaders yesterday paid their respects to past leaders who died fighting imperialism and colonisation in the 1960s.
From the Hakka Cemetery, they proceeded to the Batu Kitang Anglican Cemetery to pay their respect to past presidents the late Tan Sri Ong Kee Hui and the late Tan Sri Stephen Yong.
They also visited Nirvana Memorial Park for the same commemorative gesture. It was said that some 800 party members were laid to rest at the memorial park.
