陈超耀：人联党成为首长打贪强力后盾
砂拉越人民联合党中央秘书长拿督陈超耀律师赞赏首席部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿德南沙登打击非法伐木，杜绝贪污的决心。 他认为，这对于全国，尤其是砂州人民来说，是个非常好的消息。 他强调，全马人民包括砂州人，对于贪污的课题都应该毫无妥协的余地。因此，对于首长阿德南沙登日前发表强硬的声明，要涉及非法伐木的公司和执法人员“别惹我”，这是值得赞扬和关注的。 陈超耀保证，砂人联党肯定会成为首长的强力后盾，一起打击砂州的贪污问题。 他也呼吁全砂人民，一起给予首长强力的支持，让他能继续领导砂州，带领砂州迈向更高更好的发展。
砂人联党支持首长杜绝贪污
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤上议员发表文告，强调砂人联党全力支持砂首长丹斯里阿德南决心打击非法盗木，以杜绝贪污所作出的努力。 由于这类伐木活动没有按照当局所规定的准则和程序，导致州资源严重被破坏，大量资源平白流失，严重冲击州经济成长。 人联党欣慰看到阿德南出任首长后，所采取的各项打击非法盗木和贪污行为，更与州内多家大型伐木公司携手合作，签署廉政宣誓书，显示他决心要落实廉政和透明施政。 长期来人联党都在呼吁和鼓励民众，向大马反贪委员会举报有确凿证据的贪污行为，以维护州资源和经济发展。 反对党尤其是行动党，一直只会在口头对贪污行为作出指责，却没有向大马反贪委员会提供确凿的证据，这种做法如同子虚乌有。 人联党对阿德南的领导谐充满信心，深信他对打击贪污和其他非法活动方面，会取得预期成果和目标。特别是州内阁成员也须签署廉政宣誓书后，将会进一步推广和加深首长的反贪行动。 在这方面，人联党希望有关的签署廉政宣誓书可以扩大至所有政府机构与部门，以便全面性反贪。 人联党建议并呼吁政府，拟定更严厉法律条文，严惩涉及贪污的公司、执法官员或个人。同时也希望全体人民充当反贪耳目，做首长反贪强而有力的后盾。

GST seminar
About 500 people turned up to listen to the seminar on GST held at the SUPP Sa’ati Hall today. The talk, which was conducted in Mandarin, attracted participants from the business community, especially those from the small and medium income business. Relevant authorities were invited to give the talk and then the floor was then opened for questions and answers. SUPP has organised a series of GST seminars hoping that the public would be able to grasp what GST is when it is enforced next year.
