Dr Sim working visit to Sri Aman Hospital.
Local Minister Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian and Datuk Francis Harden went on a working visit to the Sri Aman Hospital.
Dr. Sim who is on a watching brief for Ministry of Health said he was told by the stff that there is an urgent need for air condition in the Accident and Emergency department, Dialysis, Operation theatre and Blood bank.
He said there has been unsatisfactory respond by the Hospital Support service and that there should be no excuse not to have these wards fixed with air con. Dr Sim himself later donated three units following the visit.
He said the local NGO and Harden had also started the ball rolling by donating two more units.
Dr. Sim also spend time going to all the departments there to see for himself the condition of the hospital.
