5th Asia Pacific Conference on Public Health

The State is to host the 5th Asia Pacific Conference on Public Health to be held at Riverside Majestic Hotel from 10 to 13 September organised by College of Public Health Medicine, Academy of Medicine of Malaysia. The President is Professor Datuk Dr. Lokman Hakim B Sulaiman.

Recently the Organising Chairman, Dr. Sha’ari Ngadiman who is also the Director of Pahang Health Department, had Chaired the main committee meeting in the state to finalise preparation for the conference.

The main committees lead by Dr. Jamilah also paid a courtesy visit to YB Senator Datuk Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Minister of Local Government and Housing Sarawak who later pay a Courtesy Visit to YAB Chief Minister office.

The Chief Minister is very thankfu that this conference is organized in Sarawak. He agreed that Public Health is still among major issues that need to be addressed by the expert. “The state government is fully committed and will fully support to this conference” he disclosed.

During the visit, the CM had agreed to assist with RM135,000.00 and will come to officiate the conference on 10th September 2017 at 7.00 pm at Riverside Majestic Hotel.
