砂旅游部副部长兼卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀今日巡视位于Jalan Aru的篮球场提升工程，了解工程进展及施工质量。 该项目通过乡区转型计划（RTP）拨款15万令吉进行提升，工程内容包括地面重铺、篮球板的篮框更换、安装LED照明设备、增设椅子及围栏等设施，以为当地居民提供更完善、安全及舒适的运动环境。 此项工程已于9月30日正式移交，工期预计为3个月，至12月31日完工。承包商表示将尽力加快施工进度，争取提早完工，让居民能尽快享用焕然一新的社区篮球场。

砂拉越人民联合党石角支部对石角河滨公园安装了闭路电视，以监视该地区及使用公园者的人身与财物安全感到高兴。 支部认为，这是落实建设安全、舒适与清洁三大领域环境，为打造一个更宜居、更具科技感的城市环境而努力的重要一步。 整个公园设有15根太阳能支架，并安装33个摄像头和12个扩音器，从摄像头摄取的影像画面将链接到两个监控中心，即巴达旺市议会和石角河滨公园保安中心。 当局于上个月在石角河滨公园展开安装工程，日前已正式启用，计划的经费来自巴达旺市议会在全国智慧城市初级（Smart City Early Adopter）得到的40万令吉款项。 石角河滨公园已成为民众晨运、休闲及举办社区活动的热门地点，为前往观光或使用公园设施的民众增强人身与财物保障至关重要。 石角区议员拿督阿玛沈桂贤除了积极推行地方发展，也重视打造舒适的生活环境，目前除了在河滨公园安装闭路电视，也在其他地区安装了相关设施。 闭路电视系统的启用不仅能有效防范犯罪行为，也有助于当局在发生意外或突发事件时迅速掌握现场情况，提升执法与应变效率。 安装的扩音系统也能在紧急情况下即时发布通知，提醒民众注意安全，是智慧公共空间的重要组成部分。 不少常到公园运动的民众对安装闭路电视让他们感到高兴和安心，尤其是夜间散步或清晨运动时，知道有监控系统在运作，也让家人更放心。 支部认为，这项举措显示沈桂贤重视公共安全与民众感受，并希望未来能扩展至其他社区公园。
