Wilfred Yap Spreads Mid-Autumn Cheer at Rumah Seri Kenangan
Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap together with members of the Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Kota Sentosa Branch Women’s Section, community leaders, and councillors, brought festive joy to the elderly residents of Rumah Seri Kenangan in conjunction with the Mid-Autumn Festival.
During the visit, Yap and his team distributed mooncakes and essential household items as a gesture of care, gratitude, and togetherness. The effort aimed to brighten the festive season for the residents and remind them that they remain valued members of the community.
Yap also conveyed his appreciation to the management and caregivers of Rumah Seri Kenangan for their continuous dedication in caring for the elderly. He said the Mid-Autumn Festival is not only a time of reunion and thanksgiving but also a reminder of the importance of compassion and community spirit in building an inclusive and caring society.
