Drainage upgrading along Jalan Field Force

砂副总理兼砂人联党主席拿督斯里沈桂贤说，砂拉越政治圈在这10年历经重要的变化历程，若非2018年国阵失去执政权，砂政治或还会被捆绑在一起而无法走到如今砂政治及经济独立的里程碑。 他说，砂人联党从创党初期走到如今历经多次起落，政治氛围及思维同样不断转变，尤其时任砂首长敦丕显斯里阿都泰益玛目结束其执政33年生涯后，2014年踏入时任砂首长敦阿德南时代，短短3年开启并奠定砂政治必须独立的重要思维。 “2018年对于砂拉越非常关键，因为砂政府脱离国阵团队，成立砂盟，我不是说国阵不好，必须明白1970年代很混乱，那时我们需要团结，现在砂拉越则需要独立。” 沈桂贤出席砂人联党埔奕支部及服务中心开幕剪彩仪式及揭牌剪彩仪式时强调，砂拉越开启政治与经济独立后，已让砂拉越的成就傲视全国，可谓无“州”能及。 沈桂贤举例，其中成立短短5年的砂石油公司就创建13亿令吉收入，而砂政府于今年首3个月的经济表现已达致全年收入的45%，并将强劲的经济表现归功于全民团结。 他说，2022年对于砂政治圈也扮演重要影响，因为是首次大马出现没有政党能以多数议席执政的局面，并形容那是分裂性、极端性及充满政治性。 另外，砂人联党埔奕支部主席俞小珊直言，虽该党在本届砂选举中成功夺回埔奕议席，但这份胜利从来不属于该党或他个人，而是属于埔奕选民，因为他们的选择带给选区改变与希望，也让选区有了发展拨款。 他指出，竞选宣言就是圣经，所以当初答应选民致力改善埔奕选区的基础设施和人民的生活质量的承诺也在胜选后逐一兑现。 俞小珊坦言，接任砂人联党埔奕支部至今，责任重大，尤其该支部过去面对长达10年低潮期，却从未被击垮甚至萌生放弃念头，而是上下一心默默耕耘、任劳任怨坚持服务人民，来者不拒，竭尽全力为埔奕及珠巴发展献力。 “摆在我们前面还有很多挑战，仍有很多工作要做，我们需要继续改善基础设施、提高教育和医疗水平、促进经济多元化发展，为年轻人创造更多的就业机会，以确保每人都能分享到社会发展的成果。” 亦是美里市长兼埔奕区州议员的俞小珊说，今日除了庆祝埔奕支部及服务中心的开幕，也是共同展望未来，并象征着埔奕支部的重新开始，见证该党在埔奕开启的新篇章，一起奋斗的结果。
巡视兵营路沟渠提升工程
砂副总理兼公共卫生、房屋及地方政府部长拿督斯里沈桂贤与砂拉越水利灌溉局官员视察石角兵营路1.2公里沟渠提升工程。 也是石角区议员的沈桂贤透露，这是第12大马计划下，砂拉越政府资助的1亿4000万令吉石角区沟渠提升及防洪工程的一部分，目前工程整体进度是46%。 由于冠病疫情后成本上涨以及需要考量更多气候变化的因素，必须从砂拉越政府在第12大马计划中期滚动计划，争取额外1亿2400万令吉拨款。 他强调，防洪是联邦政府和砂拉越政府共管事项，虽然这些年砂拉越成功增加本身收入，但不意味着我们得继续使用本身的资金，而联邦政府资助其他州属。 “所以我们的国会议员必须意识自己是砂拉越子民，由砂拉越选民选出，必须为砂拉越争取合理及公平的联邦拨款。”
