More community leaders appointed
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting witnessed the handing over certificates of appointments of Community leaders to Kapitan Leong Chin Lim, Kapitan for Pusat Bandar Miri, Tanjong Lobang, Brighton, Merbau Estate and Gilbert Estate. Kapitan Chan Chai Ping, Kapitan for Piasau recently.
Extending his congratulations to them, Ting also congratulated Ketua Kaum in his Constituency for their extension on their duties Penghulu Hj Samad,
KK Abdul Rahaman, KK for Kpg Luak and Lusut, KK Darahaman, KK For Kpg Pulau Melayu, KK Rushidi, KK for Kpg Wireless KK Salim, KK for Kpg Hj Wahed.
Ting said community leaders are the grassroots leaders to channel the voices from the ground and bring to the relevant authorities. He called them to work together to continue to build a united and sustainable community.
