Collapsed walk way – students injured
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting together with SMK Dato Permaisuri Principal and the PIBG went to inspect a collapsed walk way which injured several students. A total of 11 students were sent to the hospital for check up after they fell off the walkway earlier. Two of them had injuries on their legs while the other nine have no major injury. Ting said the JKR and MCC will be sending their teams to come over to have another study on the structure.
Kho questioned Pakatan Harapan’s ‘New Deal Agreement’ with BN Sarawak

人联青推展全新标志
砂拉越人民联合党青年团今日推展该团新标标志，并以英文字母“EDGE”，作为该团在第14届全国大选奋勇作战的代名词。EDGE代表着“Enthusiastic”（热情）、“Dynamic”（动感）、“Gritty”（坚韧）及“Effective”（有效）。 党主席拿督沈桂贤医生受邀主持这项推展礼。 人联青总团长程明智指出，“热情”代表着年轻一代热衷于参与人联党的斗争，本着热爱砂拉越的精神，希望越来越多青年踊跃加入这个列车。他强调，人联青不会强迫青年加入，但如果青年们对砂拉越的爱是发自于内心，他们可以选择参与人联党的斗争，因为该党成立于1959年，是砂拉越本土历史最悠久的政党，对捍卫砂拉越权益不遗余力。 “动态”表示青年的热情及激情化为行动，因为没有什么比行动更有说服力！就如沈桂贤所说般：少说，多做，以行动证明真诚！因此，人联青必须随时随地行动，全体团员在大选期间动起来。 “坚韧”象征着坚定的心，美国最新一项研究显示，那些出类拔萃，优秀的人，都具有坚韧不拔的个性。这说明了，很难击倒一个永不放弃的人。人联党先贤用血和泪去斗争，奠定现今的地位，因此人联青必须继承这份勇气与精神，塑造更强大的砂拉越，持续为砂拉越人民权益而斗争。 “有效”则表示人联青必须在社会真正发挥影响力，真正帮助到人民，解决人民的问题，通过不断创造和具有影响力的方式，引导政府改善人民的生活。 程明智表示，随着大选到来，人联青也推出全新标志，以象征全新身份进入战场。 他强调，人联青的主要任务是继续带领砂拉越青年捍卫砂拉越的权益与地位，培育新一代的领袖捍卫砂拉越的一切。同时也引领青年投入数码经济列车，迎合首席部长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里的愿景。 “人联青已经做好准备在这次大选中，前线冲刺，确保所有国阵候选人取得最佳战绩！”
沈桂贤：国阵议员才能捍卫砂权益
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤医生强调，惟有国阵的人民代议士才会真正在国会代表砂拉越发言，争取权益。他说，反对党的国会议员在国会无法发挥影响力，甚至还担心若为砂拉越争取权益，可能被西马的领袖撤换。 他今日主持人联青新标志推展礼时说，西马政治一直处于争论不休的状态，而砂拉越必须更强大，捍卫权益与地位。庆幸的是，已故前首长丕显斯里阿德南沙登生前告诉砂拉越人什么是真正的权益，否则砂拉越人至今还无法理解本身的地位。 “包括我本身，在已故阿德南沙登未公开争取权益之前，也对1963年马来西亚成立契约一知半解。现在，首席部长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里继续争取砂拉越权益，砂人民应该成为他的全力后盾。” 沈桂贤表示，人联党创党于1959年，是砂拉越历史最悠久的本土政党，在捍卫砂拉越权益方面从不松懈。 他说，阿邦佐哈里上任后致力争取砂拉越财务自主，包括成立砂拉越发展银行，收购巴贡水坝，兴建轻快铁及引领砂拉越朝向数码经济发展。不仅如此，其领导的政府还拨款给华校及教会。 他呼吁全民鼎力支持国阵及人联党，共同努力争取更多权益。
陈超耀视察学校外沟渠崩塌步行道
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师今日前往视察美里Dato Permaisuri中学的沟渠步行道倒塌问题。 他在该校校长及家教协会代表的陪同下，了解该问题，并寻求解决方案。 该沟渠步行道日前突然崩塌，导致11名中学生被送往医院检查，而校方告知陈超耀，共有2名学生的腿部受伤，其他9名学生无大碍。 陈超耀表示，公共工程局及美里市议会将派员进一步了解该沟渠是否安全。
