SUPP representation at the MCA meeting
The Minister of Local Government, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian, who is SUPP President, and the party Secretary General, Dato’ Sebastian Ting, were invited to the recent MCA 63rd Annual General Meeting. 砂人联党青年团宣教秘书符祥威律师表示，新渔村双溪亚榜巴鲁第8巷道泥沟提升工程已经完成招标，工程预计会在明年开始展开。 他是于日前与南市市议员和地方社区领袖召开新闻发布会时，这么表示。 他说，在今年的州选，他曾经与首席部长拿督巴丁宜丹斯里阿迪南沙登提出这个民生课题。 “新渔村双溪亚榜巴鲁第8巷没有良好的水沟设施，而在州选期间，我向居民表示会尽量为他们争取提升工程。” 他表示，在这项工程完成招标程序之后，承包商将会进行施工，而他们将会决定什么时候是适合施工的时间。 他感谢南市市议员吴芝辉和许德婉，以及南市工程部门在这项工程计划的付出。

尖山中公新校舍开幕礼
尖山中华公学重建工程C栋大楼于11月11日正式开幕，由砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤主持开幕仪式。 该校前后共进行4个阶段的重建工程，总预算为1150万令吉，其中包括已竣工的C栋大楼（140万令吉）、正进行重建的B栋大楼（预计耗资100万）、已经进行动土礼的多功能礼堂，（预计耗资350万，目前正进行筹款活动）、A栋大楼及校外的沟渠排水系统及学校篱笆等工程。 其中，圆满落成的C栋大楼为一栋4层楼的建筑，共拥有9间课室，其中第三层为行政办公室，加上现有的9间课室，可以大大纾缓课室不足的压力，让学生们拥有更好的学习环境。该校C栋大楼工程于2015年10月1日正式动工，并在今年8月竣工。 拿督沈桂贤在仪式上表示，砂拉越一定要将自己的教育自主权拿回。 他说，50年以来，有关自主权慢慢被淡化，这已经不是一两年就能拿回，不过还是必须极力争取，才能自由发展及提升属于砂拉越的教育制度。 他表示，尖山中公拥有一半的土著生，绝对符合“办教育不分种族及宗教”的宗旨，因办华教不止是为了利益而办，而是为了华教的根而做，与友族分享，大家为了教育而做，这就是砂拉越，永远不分种族及宗教。 他感谢长期以来给予筹款支持的各界人士，并强调，数目永远比不上心意及诚意，教育绝对是帮助下一代最好的财产。

沈桂贤：三马拉汉发展前景光明

首长署政治秘书邓文武于今日上午访问民丹莪综合诊所。 他关注到该诊所出现拥挤现象，极多看诊者需等待好久，甚至等至中午才能看医生。 同时，诊所工作人员有百人以上，但是合法泊车位只有20个，而且只有8个是给诊所车辆使用，大多数人只能违法泊车，这问题非常严重。 他强调，民丹莪急需更好的服务及医院设备，他将尽力而为协助及反映情况有关当局。

日前一群来自实旦宾中路Shefford View住宅区居民要求砂拉越人民联合党公共投诉局主任叶耀星协助向相关部门抗议发展商使用Lorong Stampin Tengah 5E作为通往新公寓工程的主要通道。 居民们表示有关发展商已于2016年10月22日在Cityone 购物中心开放预览该新公寓Royal Richmond计划；该项目包括2栋168个单位的2房室住宅公寓。该发展商表示该项目最近已获有关当局批准，居民们也得知该公寓将使用Lorong Stampin Tengah 5E作为通往其主要出入口和停车场的主要通道。 Shefford View住宅区居民表示反对使用Lorong Stampin Tengah 5E成为该公寓主要通道的原因如下:- 1. Lorong Stampin Tengah 5E的道路是由利安建筑有限公司所修建以作为该Shefford view 57个单位的唯一通道。 2. MyKad done in an hour
Political secretary to the Chief Minister, Teng Ung Woo is happy that Sarawakian no longer need to wait for a month to get their new mykad. Teng said due to a new machine installed at the Sarikei National registration department, people can enjoy fast service and can get their new Mykad in less than an hour. He said the maximum capacity to produce the Mykad is about 500 per day. Teng, who visited the NRD office, thanked the staff for their good, efficient service.
泗登记局一小时内办理更新护照
首长署政治秘书邓文武捎来好消息，泗里街人民终于不用等一个月才能拿到更新身份证了！ 他昨日下午，在一小时内完成更换新身份证程序。 他感恩泗登记局的效率，以现在的新身份证仪器的正式启用，泗登记局可以最多发出500张身份证，为泗里街带来很多方便及时间。 他希望该局继续保持良好服务。
Teng: Helping out wiring problem
Teng, in his continuing effort to help the people, is on his walk about and welfare visit to a few sub-urban houses in Sarikei as a followup on recent issues raised on rewiring problems in some area. He was surprised there are still many houses having wiring problem. He promised to do his best to assist.
