人联党8月份召开党代及党选
砂人联党主席丹斯里陈华贵披露，该党将在今年8月23及24日，于党总部召开3年一度的党员代表大会暨举行党选。 砂人联党是于今日召开的常务会议上，决定党代日期。 至于该党青年团及妇女组大会则将在22日举行。 党争有望党代前解决 另外，陈华贵对于该党党争和解的机会保持乐观，他说，党争应该会在8月份党代暨党选之前获得圆满解决。 他证实，以诗巫支部主席拿督斯里黄顺舸为首的“黄派”人马，也受邀出席今年党代。 “我们开放让符合资格的各支部领袖出席。” 他强调，各支部党员名册必须仔细过滤，确保不会有逝世党员的名字在内，引发争议。 各支部的大会及选举，包括属下的青年团及妇女组将率先在7月15日开始举行，期限是到8月3日。 另外，所有党员必须在4月份之前缴清党捐，各支部必须在5月15日之前呈交党捐收据给党中央；符合投票资格的党员名册，将在7月1日之前交给各支部。 首长自行公布和解方案 另一方面，陈华贵认为相关和解的方案，该由州国阵主席兼首长丹斯里阿德南沙登自行决定是否公布。 他重申，党中央并没开除“任何人”，所以“黄派”还是党员，还存有回归党，回归团结的可能性。 对于该党目前接受社团注册局调查的问题，陈华贵表示，目前党中央已经委托署理主席拿督斯里里察烈负责与首相拿督斯里纳吉及内政部长拿督斯里阿末扎希针对此课题协商。 他深信，人联党最终不会被吊销。
人联党青年团举办升学辅导讲座
砂人联党青年团总团长陈开说，由于华裔警员在警队的比例不多，因此大马皇家警察致力招募华裔加入，甚至放宽申请成为警员的门槛。 他指出，凡是在大马教育文凭（SPM）国语达到及格标准的华裔，就可申请成为警员。 因此，他鼓励华裔中五毕业生，可以申请当警员，申请截止在4月30之前。 他也表示，考获全A的特优生，一般上都申请报读医科系，但是全马目前仅有5间大学有提供医科系，名额非常有限。他希望申请不到医科系的学生，也可以申请其他科系如会计师或工程师科系。 “实际上，除了医科系外，国家也缺乏会计师和工程师人才，所以学生申请不到医科系，也可以申请报读会计师或工程师科系。” 无法报读医学系不应批评政府 他遗憾的看到，许多学生不了解录取医科大学额有限，在不了解情况下，就随意批评政府。 他解释，全马目前仅有5间大学有提供医科系，可是，每年考获全A的特优生逐渐增加，因此，医科系面对供不应求的窘境，希望学生能了解。 陈开是于昨晚在2014年全国大专升学辅导与讲座会上致词时，如此表示。 他说，人联党青年团提供这项升学辅导讲座会就是要让学生明白，除了医科系外，其实还有很多科系可以选择的，因为目前除了医科系外，国家还是缺乏会计和工程师人才。 “所以，申请不到医科系的学生，不用通过报章上骂政府不公平，反之，还可以选择其他科系的。” 人联党青年团除了在古晋主办这项升学辅导与讲座会外、也在美里、林梦、泗里街有提供这项服务。 有意了解更多升学资讯的年轻人，也可上网浏览面子书专页Supp youth higher education counselling。

陈华贵：人联党还是能发挥作用
砂拉越人民联合党主席丹斯里陈华贵坚决驳斥人联党得向国阵领袖“磕头”的言论，尤其是涉及华社事务上。 “人联党领袖，无论是在联邦或州政府领域，一直以来都坚持凡事保持协商的原则，在涉及公众利益的课题方面，人联党领袖都力争合理与公平的对待。” “惟不一定所有的课题，最终都会有圆满的结果。” 陈华贵强调，人联党过去以来都积极参与联邦及州政府政策的拟订，成功地扮演国阵成员党应有的角色。因此，任何指人联党领袖向国阵“磕头”的想法与评论，都应该停止。 他郑重声明，人联党依然是重要及可以持续发挥作用的政党，只是免不了会经历低潮，就像其他政党组织一样。 他深信，在党员作为强力后盾，以及砂州人民的支持下，人联党绝对可以重现辉煌。 另外，他表示，党对于本月16日由情义人间，浮罗岸青年活动中心及人联党古晋支部联合主办的《人联党还有作为吗？》政治论坛表示感激。 他说，目前为止他本身还未接获该论坛的结论报告，包括参与讲师的演讲及公众提出的意见。无论如何，所有关于人联党的评论与见解，都会在即将举行的党员代表大会上获得参考及讨论。 他表示，尽管当时人联党副主席兼古晋支部主席拿督杨莉有在场，不过他还是想再次特别强调，人联党在过去以来为砂州发展所做出的贡献是不可磨灭的。 “人联党自从参与国阵以来，在过去每届国选及州选都做出可信赖的付出，尽管自2006、2011及2013年的国州选举，党的表现有所滑落。” 陈华贵说，虽然无可否认的是，人联党目前的议员代表人数略少，这是基于几个原因促成，包括有人认为目前的人联党无法足够表达公众的立场与心声。

砂人联青呼吁调整石油开采税
砂人联党中央青年团深信，如今正是争取更大自主和自治权（国防和外交除外）的最佳时机，唯前提是必须在《马来西亚协议》的范围内及根据砂州当年参组马来西亚时签订的《十八点协议》。 砂人联青认为这具有非凡的意义因为砂人联党身为一个本州土生土长的政党，砂人联党比任何外来政党更了解砂州人民的期望。这是那些西马东渡的外来政党无法做到的。 砂人联青同时也深信重新审核马来西亚协议的内容是必要的，特别是在本州天然资源（特别是石油与天然气）方面的管理权。这是因为砂州目前的发展非常快速，州民普遍对5%石油开采税和基本建设欠缺感到不满。 基于上述理由，砂人联青全力支持砂州首长丹斯里阿德南早前的言论，即砂州政府应该向中央政府要求将石油开采税从现有的5%增加至20%，而额外的收入将可充作砂州的发展用途，改善本州基建缺乏的根本问题，特别是砂州土地面积几乎同等于整个西马半岛而且州内人口正快速增长。 此外，砂人联青秘书长叶耀星指出，丹斯里阿德南获委为首席部长前曾担任联邦和州部长，不仅在管理本州发展方面具备了深入的认识，他也拥有所需经验推动本州的经济向前发展。 虽然砂州并无就增加石油开采税一事向中央政府提出正式的要求，砂人联青呼吁中央政府主动调整本州的石油开采税，由5%上调至20%。石油开采税的调整势必能够为本州快速的成长经济注入充足的资金。
