SK Kenyalang Parent-Teacher Association’s Annual General Meeting was successfully held yesterday.
SUPP Central Youth Chairman Tan Kai attended the meeting on behalf of the party’s Secretary General Professor Doctor Sim Kui Hian, who was unable to attend the meeting due to some other commitment.
It was proposed that a three storey building block with 24 classrooms to be built in order to move all the students who are attending afternoon classes to the morning session.
SK Kenyalang’s PTA is hoping to get a special funding from Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who is currently campaigning for the state Barisan at the Balingian by-election.
The special proposal was handed over to Tan Kai after the meeting by the association’s chairman Chee Teck Siong, witnessed by headmaster of SK Kenyalang Ho It Chin and its advisor Penghulu Tan Heng Kee.
