许徳婉：民众仍需对治安保持警惕
砂拉越总理政治秘书许德婉表示，针对石角地区车遭石头砸损案件，警方不只是首次逮捕嫌疑犯案者，因此，民众仍需警惕。 她呼吁所有遭遇罪案或破坏行为的民众一定要向警方报案，以便有关当局能采取行动。 有关石角罪案事项，在今年6月10日在本曼查陈君义协调安排下与巴达旺警区主任Irwan警监及负责人举行交流会，出席者包括巴达旺市议会主席陈开、砂人联党石角支部主席林亚德以及巴达旺市议会执法团队。 会议讨论的议题包括： 此外，此项交流会也探讨了巴达旺市议会执法队伍与警方之间的合作方式，以共同防范犯罪并提升巴达旺地区的治安。警方呼吁公众在遇到罪案时积极报案，以便展开正式调查。 而得知昨晚7点警方已逮捕了在石角区Paragon一带朝行驶中车辆投掷石块的嫌犯，感到松了一口气。 许徳婉感谢巴达旺市议会与巴达旺警方携手合作追查案件，干得好！也特别赞赏市议会主席陈开、市议员郑国栋及其朋友们，亲自轮班多晚尝试抓捕嫌犯，这真的是一项社区共同努力的成果。 “我们在6月10日向巴达旺警方反映此案，当时警方表示已有一名嫌犯被捕，但事件仍持续发生，因此警方将继续调查。从我们最初报案到日前终于抓到嫌犯，警方耗时一个多月。我真心祈祷这次抓到的是对的人，也希望沿着石角路行驶的驾驶者，终于可以安心开车了。” 她指出，在过去几个月里，她已就MJC、Pine Square与Westfield Point发生的破门入屋与跟踪事件报了案。若只是在社交媒体发文，而没有受害者或报案记录，当局未必能立即介入处理。 她希望建立安全社区，每个人的努力都很重要。

罗克强：反对党玩弄政治
峇都吉当议员拿督罗克强表示，在砂议会，我们见证一个真相的时刻——也是一个羞耻的时刻。 真相是：来自民主行动党的张健仁与杨薇讳拒绝支持2025年砂拉越议会（议员组成）法案——该法案旨在将砂拉越的州议席从82席增加至99席，这是砂拉越立法历史上最大规模的扩展。而他们说“不”。 而羞耻的是：他们本有机会站出来为砂拉越发声，却选择了玩弄政治。 我从未说过他们反对砂拉越获得更多国会议席。我所说的——而我依然坚持的是——他们拒绝支持这项为未来争取更多国会议席打下基础的法案。这不是谎言，这是事实。 张健仁不能一方面说要更多的国会议席，另一方面却投票反对这项加强我们主张的法案。这就像想登山却拒绝迈出第一步。 这项法案不仅仅是数字的问题。它是一项重要的制度改革——是为了配合我们日益增长的自治权、责任和发展规模，而使砂拉越立法机构现代化的一步。有了更多的议员，我们可以拓展立法功能，包括成立特别委员会来审查各部委和法定机构、提升公共问责制，并加强服务效率。 如果新加坡这个城市国家可以有99位国会议员，那么地广人稀、需求复杂的砂拉越理应也配得上相同的代表数量。 如果我们不先在自己的砂议会中增强话语权，又如何恢复砂拉越在国会中应有的三分之一代表权？若我们自己都不愿给予更公平的代表，又凭什么向布城争取公平？ 张健仁说：“把议席增加带到国会，我们就支持。”可是谁控制着国会？不是砂拉越，不是砂盟（GPS），而是联邦政府。而民主行动党正是其中一部分。如果张健仁和杨薇讳真有诚意，那法案在哪里？动议在哪里？他们对选举委员会施压了吗？ 砂拉越人民并不愚蠢，他们看得穿这些政治花招。 砂拉越之道，是尊重、诚信，以及在面对历史性不公时的团结。 今天的法案不仅仅关乎席位数量——它关乎正义、自治，以及恢复《1963年马来西亚协议》下所承诺的权益。 这关乎确保砂拉越的声音——特别是来自偏远和乡村地区的声音——能被清晰、有力、公平地听见。 因此我要问浮罗岸与朋岭区的人民： 你们为你们的代表今天的行为感到骄傲吗？你们为他们站出来反对砂拉越获得更大代表权而感到自豪吗？ 我并不感到骄傲。 我相信，历史将铭记今天：在这一天，有人挺身而出为砂拉越发声——而有人却选择坐下并高声喧哗。 让我们不要辜负我们的人民。让我们永远不要再将砂拉越的未来当作政治游戏的一部分。
Lo Khere Chiang Criticises DAP
Batu Kitang assemblyman Dato Ir. Lo Khere Chiang has criticised Democratic Action Party (DAP) leaders Chong Chieng Jen and Violet Yong for voting against the Dewan Undangan Negeri (Composition of Members) Bill 2025, calling it a failure to stand up for Sarawak’s interests. Lo described the one-day Sarawak Legislative Assembly sitting as both a “moment of truth and a moment of shame,” as the two opposition lawmakers refused to support the Bill, which proposed an increase of State seats from 82 to 99, the largest expansion in Sarawak’s legislative history.Read More
