罗东海边速建防浪堤

砂拉越旅游部副部长兼卑尔骚议员拿督陈超耀高度关注近期大涨潮导致罗东海边路海蚀情况恶化的问题,并致函予我国副首相拿督斯里法迪拉寻求重点关注,希望能够加速工程,避免海蚀情况进一步恶化。 他今早抵达美里后,便前往视察罗东海边路遭遇海蚀的问题,并强调这个问题凸显在沿海地带长期抗灾方案的重要性,呼吁当局尽快落实拨款建造防浪堤。 他说,根据初步了解,于2022年批准的4500万令吉防洪工程费已在今日截止招标,因此将持续跟进希望工程能尽快启动,减少洪水和海岸侵蚀对罗东沿海地区的威胁。 陈超耀在文告中表示,近年来气候变迁加剧,海水不断上涨,沿海地区受到侵蚀日益严重,这不仅影响道路的基本设施,更对沿海周边居民的安全构成隐患,建造防浪堤方案是迫切需要。 他表示,海浪已对罗东海边路造成严重破坏,促请相关部门加速工程程序,以便修复工作能在最短时间内展开。 “美里市政局在现场置放警示牌提醒道路使用者提高警惕,安全驾驶,同时在涨潮后派员协助清理退潮后残留在路面的杂物、废木块及碎石。” 他补充,上述系列工程旨在通过多层次的防护措施,有效减少洪水和海岸侵蚀对罗东沿海地区的威胁,并保护周边居民及基础设施的安全。
