Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting sad to see Miri coastal area erosion
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting was worried and sad that the coastal erosion which was noticed in 2020 has worsened due to climate change.
Ting said it is truly tragic as the issue has remained unsolved until this day.
He said last year, Deputy Prime Minister, Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof visited the area and was briefed on the situation.
Ting went to the site recently to view the situation and hoped that relevant agencies whom he has reached out to would address the matter fast and preserve Miri coastal areas.
