Getting Malaysian citizenship

The Kueh family thanked Deputy Premier, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian for assisting their three children to get the Malaysian citizenship recently. Dr Sim congrats the family for receiving the citizenship. He said it has been an uphill battle and to be stateless, one faces many social stigma. 沈桂贤助成邦江3青年获得公民权

天猛公郭翼升感恩砂副总理兼公共卫生、房屋及地方政府部长拿督斯里沈桂贤医生大力协助成邦江3位青年人争取公民权,正式获得证书。 这3位年轻人为郭应武伉俪之儿女,他们分别为郭伟斌、郭伟航及郭欣颖。 副总理是在程明智副部长、总理政治秘书陈开、郭翼升夫人黄莲等陪同之下,将相关的公民权文件移交予他们。 沈桂贤在脸书帖文恭喜来自成邦江郭氏家庭的儿女获得公民权,接下来是申请大马身份证,最终希望身份证上有“K”(代表砂拉越人)。 他说,许多人不知道没有公民权造成的不便,包括无法考取驾照,无法申请银行户头和无法乘飞机出行等,其实最大影响还是精神上折磨和社会投予异样眼光。
