Desa Wira drainage system upgraded
Sarawak Local government and Housing, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian disclosed that Lorong 5B drainage in Desa Wira will be upgraded after more than 30 years (with new design by engineers) at RM 280,000. 石角德莎威拉排水系统持续提升
石角德莎威拉排水系统计划持续提升，该地区第5B巷斥资28万的排水系统提升工程已施工，预料会在近期落实。 这地区原有的沟渠已有数十年，属陈旧和不符以应付目前的排水量，民众在向石角区议员拿督斯里沈桂贤反应和提出提升要求后，工程已获得批准，并由巴达旺市议会通过公开招标方式执行。 一旦工程完成后，该地区的沟渠将比原有的宽大，可以应付庞大的排水量。 沈桂贤在巴达旺市议会工程师阿兹旺陪同下，巡视进行中的德莎威拉第5B巷沟渠提升工程。 除了上述工程，实际上沈桂贤也向砂政府争取1亿2000万作为提升石角地区排水系统的工程，当中德莎威拉地区涉及15个沟渠提升项目。 在15个项目中，迄今已进行了7项，另外8项还未开工，同时水利灌溉局也将会加速德莎威拉第17和17A巷的发展进度，所有的工程都是通过公开招标进行。 提升和改善德莎威拉排水系统是一项庞大的发展计划，首个阶段的提升工程，水利灌溉局将会提升现有连贯到盐柴港的主要沟渠工程。接下来就是提升或维修民宅地区的沟渠，确保排水顺畅。 一些地势比较低的道路也会填高，如此才能确保水流顺畅，民宅地区的所有沟渠将提升为洋灰沟，大沟渠与支流沟渠宽分别是1.5和1.2米。
No election this year, says Dr Sim
Minister for Local government and Housing, Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian said there will not be any election in Sarawak this year as the state will remain under Emergency until Feb 2 next year. 石角支部登门协助民众登记接种疫苗
砂拉越人民联合党石角支部配合砂政府为民众注射疫苗的努力，展开下乡协助民众注册注射冠病疫苗工作，让尚未注射疫苗者，能更快和更便利得到注射。 虽然砂拉越注射疫苗情况比其他地方快，甚至是疫苗在等民众来注射，但基于考虑到其他各种情况，包括年迈者或卧病在床者不便前往注射中心接种，因此石角区议员拿督斯里沈桂贤要求登门向这些民众进行注册，方便安排医务人员上门为他们注射。 上门为民众注册的工作，今天开始在石角进行，并获得红新月会派员义务协助。 还没有注册或面对行动不便的石角区民众，可以与人联党各区负责人、社区领袖、支分部及服务中心联系。 根据今天走访的注册工作，大部分的石角民众已经注射了疫苗，尚未注射者多半是年迈的老人、行动不便或卧病在床的民众。 在注册过程中，红新月会人员清楚向注册者了解和记录他们的身体状况，包括是否患有什么疾病及所服用的药物。 完成注册后，有关的名单与资料将提呈给有关当局，以便做进一步的注射疫苗安排。 民众对这项登门注册注射疫苗感到高兴，并感谢沈桂贤，解决了很多他们注册与注射疫苗难题。
