Qing Ming SOP

The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) allowed eight family members to go to graves and only two at columbariums or memorial halls for Qing Ming from March 20 to April 14. The official Qing Ming falls on April 4. Visiting time is from 4 am at graveyards and columbaruims or Memorial halls is from 8am to 4 pm. 砂首长署:砂基督徒使用“阿拉”字眼从未受到限制

针对闹得沸沸扬扬的“阿拉”字眼课题,砂首长署今日发文告声明,自敦丕显斯里泰益玛目领导、已故丕显斯里阿德南沙登在位及当今砂政府时代,砂政党联盟政府都持续维持及维护砂拉越宗教和谐。 穆斯林尊重基督徒,就如基督徒尊重穆斯林一样,各宗教亦是如此。砂拉越基督徒从未在敬重使用“阿拉”字眼时,受到任何限制。 砂政党联盟政府会持续捍卫及维护砂拉越宗教和谐,因这是砂拉越人民团结一致的核心因素。我们通过其他宗教单位(UNIFOR)致力协助其他宗教就是最佳证明。 可以理解的是,在砂选举即将来临之际,有些人试图扮演伪冠军,将此课题政治化。 砂政党联盟领导层相信人民不会因此对砂政府立场及理念产生怀疑或动摇,而是继续坚定捍卫砂拉越宗教和谐。


程明智:非土著可踊跃申请加入警队

砂首长署政治秘书程明智指出,有志加入警队服务的非土著及原住民年轻男女,华裔青年,可响应2021年大马皇家警察部队特别招募,录取条件是更为放松。 他引述警队所发布的此项特别招募行动,是由本月18日(周四)开始,直至本月31日截止,凡年龄达18岁至28岁之间的非土著年轻男女,可以通过官网:e-PENGAMBILAN PDRM提出申请。 他声称,申请者需持有大马教育文凭,国文科必须及格,有近视者也可申请等,若有任何疑问,可在办公时间致电:03-22668348/8350/8351,向警队录取单位探询。 根据警队当局公布,目前华裔仅占1.66%(1959人)、印裔有1.66%(3422人),而其他则16%(1万8929人);土著是唯一比例居高的族群,有严重失衡的现象。 程明智日前联袂诗巫市议会主席丁永豪,到诗巫UTC重新开放首日巡视后发文告,他欢迎大马皇家警察部队,开展特别招募非土著及原住民,让更多非土著加入警队,加强警队多元种族色彩,希望能有更多华裔男女及原住民作申请。
