Wilfred Yap calls for heavier fines for land encroachment
The business community at Batu Tujuh, Kota Sentosa were unhappy with a coffeeshop operator who constructed a cement extension encroaching onto three (3) public car parks to create a bigger space for placing extra tables and chairs for his coffeeshop. 7哩商家投诉非法扩建水泥地

石角路获联邦拨款提升
砂地方政府及房屋部长拿督斯里沈桂贤感谢联邦工程部高级部长拿督斯里法迪拉尤索加速批准石角路提升工程。 他指出，联邦工程部共拨出180万令吉用于在石角路兴建2.4公里长的混凝土护栏，以及拨出50万令吉安装护栏。 也是石角区议员的沈桂贤表示，在砂拉越，所有道路分为3个不同类别，有不同的拨款管道。其中包括联邦道路，拨款来自联邦工程部，但维修保养工作是砂公共工程局。 至于州道路及地方议会道路，拨款都是来自砂政府，而维修保养单位分别是砂公共工程局及地方议会。 他也感谢砂公共工程局不仅积极扮演维修保养道路的角色，还准备一切文书工作，向联邦政府申请拨款。 他说，随着石角路提升，希望能减低部分道路车祸黑区的车祸率。他也要求砂天然资源与环境局研究环境因素，是否也是车祸率的因素之一。 沈桂贤强调，会继续争取联邦政府拨款以改进砂联邦道路，尤其是石角路。
