人联与联民党决心密切合作
由砂拉越人民联合党与联民党成立的咨询委员会，本月1日召开第一次会议，并一致的达致三项协议。 这三项协议是： (一)依循2018年3月23日所签署的备忘录，两党再次重申，决心在来届国会大选紧密合作与互相配合，确保由拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里所领导的砂拉越国阵取得最大的胜利。 (二)现有代表两党的社区领袖和地方议员继续保留，以待国会大选后，作进一步商讨。 (三)扩大咨询委员会到六名成员，两党增加署理主席，既拿督斯里里察烈和拿督耶里苏修。 根据人党主席拿督沈桂贤和联民党主席拿督斯里黄顺舸所签署发表的文告披露，出席当天第一次会议的成员，除了两名党主席，也包括两党的秘书，就是拿督陈超耀和罗君华。

The Consultative Committee formed under the Memorandum of Understanding has held its first meeting on Sunday 1st April 2018. 首长移交700万令吉拨款予全砂独中
砂首长拿督巴丁宜阿邦佐哈里日前移交拨款700万令吉予砂独中董联总会，作为全砂14所独中办学经费。 同时，他也宣布额外拨款50万令吉充作石角民立中学新校舍之建设基金，同时，已鉴定美里地段一片土地，作为独中以地养校之用途。 他是于石角民立中学举行的砂华文独中拨款移交仪式上进行致词时，做出上述宣布。 阿邦佐哈里称，本身在时隔17年后再次莅临石角民立中学，是继敦丕显斯里泰益玛目之后，第二位到访该校的首长，同时，本身是为兑诺而到访该校，即移交砂政府所承诺的独中常年拨款，并是从600万令吉增至今年700万令吉。 他强调，本身与已故前首长阿迪南重视华校，是基于教育的重要性，更何况在华校就学的学生并非仅是华裔，还有土著学生。 他表示，当砂拉越华校求助时，同在砂土保党，也为兄弟的已故阿迪南与自己都将给予前者支持与帮助，包括本身在任首长承诺增加常年拨款，砂人联党石角区州议员拿督沈桂贤为石角民立中学争取建设新校舍，以及兑现鉴定土地作为独中以地养校的用途之承诺。” 首长希望，砂拉越子民能够明白，索回砂拉越权益须是循序渐次，一步一步实行；虽然有些人抱有猜疑，也担心索回无果，但其深信，在具备诚信、耐性与周全行动计划之下，上帝将赐福。同时，本身也不怕被谁威胁，因为已从政40年之久。 他透露，在敦丕显斯里泰益玛目卸下首长之职，由已故阿迪南接棒，本身是给予支持的，因为要建立稳定的领导层基石，同时，如今也延续已故阿迪南支持华校、英语为另一个官方语言等的政策，为的是砂拉越子民在未来有能力站上世界舞台。 出席者包括砂地方政府与房屋部部长拿督沈桂贤上议员、砂第二财政部长兼砂国际贸易及电子商务部部长拿督斯里黄顺舸、砂公用事业部长拿督斯里史迪分伦迪、社会和谐助理部长拿督法兰西斯哈汀、砂拉越华文独中董联总会会长天猛公拿督刘利民及砂拉越华文独中董联总会署理会长兼古晋中中校董会主席拿督黄良杰。
Upgrading and repairing garden facilities
Piasau State Assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting held a discussion with Piasau Garden Committee members on how to improve the recreational park. In a meeting held on Tuesday night, Ting said they need to upgrade the garden facilities besides maintenance work. The place is also in need of a walking path and repair work for the children playground.
