SUPP / UPP Consultative Committee unanimous decision

The Consultative Committee formed under the Memorandum of Understanding has held its first meeting on Sunday 1st April 2018.

In attendance at the meeting were the Presidents of SUPP and UPP, YB Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian and YB Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh and their respective Secretaries General, YB Datuk Sebastian Ting and George Lo.

The members of the first Consultative Committee have reached a unanimous agreement on the following:

As reflected in the MOU signed on the 23rd March 2018, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to work closely and collaborate with each other in the forthcoming Parliamentary election to ensure maximum victory for the State Barisan Nasional team led by YAB Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg.
That all Ketua Masyarakats and Councillors representing both parties shall remain status quo and to be discussed after the forthcoming Parliamentary Election.
That the Consultative Committee shall be increased to 6 members with the addition of YB Dato Sri Richard Riot and YB Datuk Dr Jerip Susil.
