Working visit to Sri Aman
Local government Minister, Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian spent a Working visit to the Majlis Daerah Sri Aman on 16 February 2017.

过去两天连绵大雨，导致州内多地方，包括石角多个低洼地区发生水灾。目前石角区面对较严重水灾的地区是甘榜欣纳布迪拉玛，甘榜双溪登雅，甘榜兰道班让（上湾头），有多条道路也因水患而中断，或影响小型车辆的川行。 砂拉越人民联合党拿督沈桂贤服务团队已在第一时间前往受水灾影响到地区，并给予有关灾黎必要协助。 沈桂贤也指示服务团队提供饮水与食物给他们，以便渡过难关。各政府相关单位也前往受水灾影响地区，准备必要协助包括疏散灾黎。 沈桂贤之前提供给三个甘榜的船只，也派上用场，作为运送食物等用途。
Assistance for flood victims at Kpg Tengah Sungai
Local Minister, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian send food stuff and assisted the flood victims at Kpg Tengah Sungai. He thanked his team, JPAM, Bomba, Army, Welfare, DO, NGO and other agencies as well as YBDA Douglas Ungah (Deputy Chief Minister of Sarawak & Minister In Charge of Disaster Relief) for the tremendous effort in assisting the victims. He hoped that the flood would subsided and the evacuees would be able to return home soon.
伦乐新春大团拜
一项新春大团拜于15日晚上在伦乐中华小学礼堂举行。 首席部长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里是当晚的晚宴主宾，而全场有超过1000名民众出席，与首长欢庆农历新年。 这项新春大团拜是由伦乐县和三马丹副县59个华人组织联办，包括庙宇、青年组织和乡村发展与安全委员会等。出席这项晚宴的嘉宾包括联邦国际贸易与工业部第二部长拿督斯里黄家泉。 当晚以砂人联党主席兼地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤为首的人联党领袖也出席，参与其盛。 阿邦佐哈里在致词时，表示他很认真确保他领导下的砂拉越政府保持廉政作风。 他强调，他日前率领全体内阁签署廉政宣誓书，展现杜绝贪污的决心，是一项认真的举动。 他要确保所有内阁部长和助理部长都保持廉洁，并且承诺成为一个公平的首长，公平对待各族。 当晚，阿邦佐也宣布他会拨款600万令吉给予砂拉越的独中。
Walkabout in Lutong area
Dato’ Sebastian Ting, Piasau State Assemblyman, together with City Council engineers and Councillors visited the SJK Chung Hua Lutong and the Lutong area on the RTP projects on the upgrading of the drainage system. He was also briefed by the Council engineers who said upgrading work may start in April.

Assistance for urgent processing of SOCSO claims
The SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) was recently approached by a woman residing at BDC Resettlement Scheme, Kuching seeking for assistance to find out the status of her application for financial assistance in the form of invalidity pension from SOCSO (Social Security Organisation). The woman concerned is suffering from blindness caused by her sickness and is unable to continue working. SUPP PCB have now highlighted and brought the matter up to the attention of SOCSO to urgently/promptly process and approve the application.

陈超耀巡视基建工程
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师于日前前往美里罗东地区巡视。 他是在美里市议会工程师、市议员等人陪同下，在罗东中华小学和罗东地区巡视当地的沟渠提升工程。该工程是在乡村转型计划下的计划。 据悉，这项工程将在4月份开始动工。
让查米拉延续阿迪南的遗志

Boat tragedy at Kuala Baram
Dato Sebastian and his team rushed to the scene when they heard that a long boat has capsized last night near the Kuala Baram wharf. 砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师在得知美里瓜拉巴南昨晚发生一宗渔船翻覆案件之后，于今日赶往现场了解事件的进展，并且慰问失踪者家属。 案发时，该艘渔船共载有4人，其中2人成功自救，但另外两人，即一对父子坠海失踪。 搜寻单位于今早发现一具尸体，为渔夫的儿子。 陈超耀向在场进行搜寻的救援单位，包括警方和消拯局表示感激。

罗克强主持流动图书馆开幕仪式
砂人联党巴都吉当区州议员罗克强于今日受邀出席实旦宾中华公学流动图书馆开幕仪式。 实旦宾中华公学特别设立流动图书馆，提供学生借阅课外书，培养学生阅读兴趣，增广见闻。 罗克强希望实旦宾中华公学的学生善用流动图书馆，尽量借阅更多的书本，回家阅读。 “学生多阅读书本，融会贯通，肯定可以增进语文能力和作文水平，有助于提升学业成绩。一般能够写好作文和语文能力比较强的学生，都喜爱饱览群书，特别是文学及科学书本。” 他也希望实旦宾中华公学购买更多的书本，丰富流动图书馆的藏书，让学生受惠。同时，其他华小也应该向实旦宾中华公学看齐，争取设立流动图书馆。 他说，一般上华小都缺乏经费，没有能力购买更多课外书本，以致学校图书馆的书本相当有限，因此他吁请社会人士送书给华小，让华小的图书馆拥有更多的书本。 他相信一般人或多或少都有几本书，应该能够将看过的书本送给华小图书馆。
医务人员慈善竞跑活动
一项大马医药协会砂拉越分会与医务及专科人员协会联办的慈善竞跑活动于本月12日举行，获得1300名参与者参与。 这项于古晋南市市政局举行的活动，共分为10公里和3公里组别。砂人联党巴都吉当区州议员兼巴达旺市议会主席罗克强代表砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤为这项竞跑活动主持开幕礼。 罗克强在致词时表示，这项活动的参与者大多数是医生或医务人员，堪称是属于另类的医药集会。 他赞扬主办单位通过这项活动，向医务人员提倡健康生活。

YB Datuk Sim recently represented the CM for a trip to Alor Setar to attend the Program Tahunan Isteri Wakil Rakyat BN Malaysia. The program started on 7th February until 11th February 2017. The Sarawak Sabati badminton team won 3rd prize.

State Assemblyman for Piasau, Dato’ Sebastian Ting went down to Ocean Park, Jalan Bakam with a number of City council Councillors and Engineers to have a site visit to the basketball court there. Walkabout in Kpg Wireless
Piasau State Assemblyman went down to Miri Kpg Wireless with City Council Councilors and Engineers to have a site visit on the bridge. In last year’s RTP 2016, one of the projects submitted is for the repair of the damaged bridge in the Kampung. The project has since been approved and the City council will come out with a plan on repairing the bridge. They is a total of 19 bridges connected through out the whole Kampung.

砂人联党主席兼砂地方政府部长拿督沈桂贤代表首长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里出席于亚罗士打举行的国阵议员夫人常年活动，该活动是从2月7日举行至11日。 其中，砂部长及助理部长夫人协会在一项羽毛球团体赛中，获得第三名。
陈超耀巡视甘榜威雅勒
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师于日前巡视美里甘榜威雅勒（Kpg Wireless）。 他是在美里市议会市议员和工程师陪同下，巡视该甘榜的桥梁。 在去年的乡村转型计划拨款当中，其中一项计划是修复该甘榜的木制桥梁。这项计划已经获得批准，而美里市议会将在短期内设计蓝图，展开修桥工程。 整个甘榜共有19座桥梁。
