Wishing Batu Kawa community A Happy New Year
Senator Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian who is Batu Kawa State Assemblyman with the Batu Kawa community leaders and members went around Batu Kawa town this morning to wish the people happy new year. Dr. Sim also distributed cards and oranges to the people who came out to greet him. He said it was a good time to catch up with the people in his constituency and wish them a good New Year face to face.

沈桂贤提醒人们注意健康
砂地方政府部长兼石角区州议员拿督沈桂贤医生表示，心脏病仍然是砂拉越的首要杀手，因此，他呼吁，人们不论是佳节时期或平日，都要注意饮食和起居作息，定时检查身体。 他认为，在公共场合举办身体检查活动，是一项很好的努力，可提高公众对身体健康的醒觉意识。 “我们必须定时检查我们的血压、血糖、胆固醇、体重等，这是非常重要的预防措施！” 拿督沈桂贤是出席在石角味源港广场（Moyan Square）举行的健康检查活动，受访时，如是表示。 他感谢砂拉越心脏基金会与砂心脏中心的护士一直不断，携手配合，推广这项有益公众的健康检查活动。 对此，他呼吁，公众把握及善用这些机会，踊跃出席身体检查活动，掌握自己的身体状况，远离疾病。 另一方面，沈桂贤也提醒民众在佳节时期，更加要注意饮食，避免大吃大喝，吃坏身子。 他强调，健康是非常重要的，因此，必须举办更多公众健康检查与醒觉活动，以增进民众的健康保健意识。

唐装小小姐比赛本周末举行

沈桂贤重新受委地方政府部长
砂人联党主席拿督沈桂贤感谢新任首长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里重新委任他担任地方政府部长。 “我想要感谢首长重新委任我，这显示首长对于我的信任和信心。” 沈桂贤强调，每个人都必须要继续努力工作，延续已故阿迪南沙登的精神，尤其是他的理念与目标，都必须专注去执行。这也是新届政府的关键性任务。 他表示，其本身也将会继续努力，达致阿迪南沙登设下的目标。
Reappointment as Minister of local government
Senator Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian thanked the Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg for his reappointment as Minister of local government. He thanked the Chief Minister for reappointing him to the same portfolio as it showed confidence and trust in what he has done. 人联党今年低调庆祝农历新年
为尊重已故砂第五任首长丹斯里阿迪南沙登，砂人联党今年低调举行新春团拜，同时取消舞狮、舞龙表演，并把团拜时间缩短。 2017年人联党新春华人春节团拜筹委会主席罗克强表示，与往年一样，今年农历新年期间，该党同样会在党总部举行团拜，而这也是该党传统。 不过，为了尊重已故砂第五任首席部长丹斯里阿迪南沙登，人联党今年不大肆庆祝，其中舞狮、舞龙节目取消，并把时间缩短。目前，砂元首敦泰宜玛目已确定将在当天上午10时30分抵达人联党总部，而首长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里则将在10时抵达。 也是峇都吉当区州议员的罗克强指出，人联党新春团拜，将在年初一上午10时开始，直到11时，只有一个小时，欢迎民众出席，该党备有美食招待。
陈超耀：阿邦佐将使国阵持续获得支持
砂人联党卑尔骚区州议员拿督陈超耀律师深信，砂新任首长拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里持续推行丹斯里阿迪南设定的各项计划和政策，不但使砂州国阵继续获得人民的支持，也兑现砂国阵在去年砂州大选时所作出的承诺。 也是砂人联党中央秘书长的陈超耀，是针对拿督阿玛阿邦佐哈里宣誓就任砂州第六任首席，如此表示。 他说，由于阿迪南推出的计划和政策深受本州人民接受，他于去年5月大选时领军时获得砂州人民的全力支持，在82个州议席中赢获72个席位，并获得高达87.8%的支持率。 “由此可见，阿迪南说的就是人民希望看到的。新任首长阿邦佐哈里接任后，表示他不但会遵循阿迪南设定的计划和政策继续前进，同时也将拟定更多惠及人民的计划，我们将给予他全力支持与配合。” 陈超耀说，计划需要时间来推行，阿迪南在砂州大选时要求人民给他5年，并表示他会在这5年中逐步兑现其承诺。 “虽然阿迪南离开我们，但他的承诺将由砂国阵在阿邦佐哈里率领下继续逐步推行，我们希望人民继续跟我们站在一起，共同兑现大家都想要看到的计划和政策。”
