沈桂贤巡视石角选区工程
砂地方政府部长兼石角区州议员拿督沈桂贤于今日巡视石角区的工程计划。 他前往味源路视察当地的道路提升工程,该工程是乡村转型发展计划的项目之一。 同时,他也前往味源港的慈云庙,视察该庙的重建工程。 沈桂贤除了会走访全砂之外,还会定期关注自己选区的发展计划。 他非常感谢天猛公陈如飞、人联党石角支部秘书林亚德及沈医生团队的努力工作。
Celebrating Malaysia Day
SUPP State Assemblyman for Piasau, Dato Sebastian Ting joined in the joyous Malaysia Day celebration in Bintulu on september 16. Ting called to the government to celebrate the day on a more grand scale as this was when Malaysia was formed with Singapore, Malaya, Sarawak and Sabah way back in 1963. He also hoped that Sarawak, Sabah and Malaya would take turn to have the main celebration each year.
(Moon Cake) festival organised by SUPP Women’s wing in Miri
Over 1,000 people from all walks of life took part in the Mid Autumn (Moon Cake) festival organised by SUPP Women’s wing on Wednesday night in Miri led by Chairperson, Datin Jennifer Chee. The walk started from Civic Centre to Miri City Fan before heading back to the civic centre again. Piasau State Assemblyman, Dato’ Sebastian Ting who officiated the opening ceremony congratulated the Woman’s wing for promoting and maintaining the culture and tradition. He said this is also to educate the younger generation of what mid autumn festival is all about.
